グローバルシティズンシップを育てる授業実践を目指して : コラボレィティブ・アクティブラーニングをもとに Aiming at the Teaching Practices which Foster Global Citizenship through Collaborative & Active Learning 大池, 京子 オオイケ, キョウコ OIKE, Kyoko global citizenship education collaborative active learning As English teaching professionals living in this global society, we strive to respond to the needs of the times. However, it seems to be of utmost importance to first agree upon a shared principle from which each teaching method is derived. In this paper, the author focuses on the significance of fostering global citizenship. She then examines the effectiveness of her teaching practices, in terms of student discussion, creation of global event materials and incorporation, and mini research project presentations. Starting from a rather narrow scope, she aims to derive some teaching essentials from continual practice and research using student feedback.
