シェリー・レヴィーンのシミュレーション画像 : 1980年代米国ポストモダニズムの先駆者のひとり Sherrie Levine's simulation art : A pioneer on Postmodernism in the United States in the 1980s 鉢呂, 光恵 HACHIRO, Mitsue HACHIRO, Mitsue Sherrie Levine is an artist representing American postmodernism. In 1981,she transformed a historic photograph,which was taken in 1936 by prominent photographer Walker Evans,Allie Mae Burroughs,the wife of a tenant farmer affected by the global depression,into a simulation art created based on the duplication technology that was popular in America in the 1980s.
