However, it seems to be of utmost importance to first agree upon a shared principle from which each teaching method is derived. In this paper, the author focuses on the significance of fostering global citizenship. She then examines the effectiveness of her teaching practices, in terms of student discussion, creation of global event materials and incorporation, and mini research project presentations. Starting from a rather narrow scope, she aims to derive some teaching essentials from continual practice and research using student feedback.
