| 内容記述 | In 2007, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare released an interim report by the Committee to Examine a Scheme for a Future Social Care System for Children. The report suggested that the system should include two types of social care support for children: nursing support to ensure childrenʼs growth, and psychological support to help children to recover from emotional trauma caused by inadequate nursing care. In other words, it can be said that children who are in need of social care have a certain level of psychological, emotional and behavioral challenges. Given the circumstances children face, this thesis aims to identify the effects of nature learning experiences on the social independence of children who need social care. These onsite nature learning experiences were provided as part of learning support projects by Kacotam, an organization that offers comprehensive learning support to children whose learning environments are insufficient for reasons of economic hardship or family background. Consequently, it was suggested that new experiences and new encounters from learning amidst nature played a positive role in enhancing their self acceptance and motivation, as well as in extending relationships with others. |
