| 内容記述 | In recent years, excessive desire for slimness that is prevalent among young adult women causes them to have eating problems including eating disorders. In the present study, we carried out the 40 items Eating Attitudes Test on fresh women in Fuji Women's University in an effort to examine the prevalence and tendency of desire for slimness among young adult women. The results showed that the mean EAT-26 scores of the present study were similar to those in previous studies in Japan, suggesting that desire for slimness in young adult women continues to be prevalent during this decade. Comparison of the results of factor analysis with those in a previous study suggests that feelings of compulsion for control may be more prevailing among the present young adult women in Japan. | |||||
