| 内容記述 | It has been 17 years since the Human Life Studies Course of the Faculty of Human Life Sciences at Fuji Womenʼs University initiated teacher training programs geared to helping students obtainʠClass 1 special-needs schoolteacher certification.ʡSince 2011, the Faculty has examined the results of questionnaire surveys completed by supervisors involved in teacher training at special-needs schools in order to understand the supervisorsʼawareness of teacher training, the effectiveness of the training programs and their demands for our university. While conducting multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questionnaire surveys, we have tried to specifically identify challenges that underlie teacher training. These surveys have revealed that one challenge facing the Department is that the basic prerequisite for obtainingʠClass 1 special-needs schoolteacher certificationʡis kindergarten teacherʼs certification. It has also been pointed out that it is necessary to examine how students who are certified as special-needs schoolteachers can utilize the expertise and skills acquired through the special program after employment. |
